Dele is the only injury concern for Jose Mourinho ahead of our Premier League clash at home to Everton on Monday evening (8pm).
Jose reported in this afternoon’s (Saturday) pre-match press conference that the attacking midfielder had an issue with his hamstring in this morning’s training session.
However, the Head Coach remained positive he will be available for selection on Monday.
Jose said: “There was something today in training with Dele, but when I say ‘something’ it’s because I don’t think it’s big, and because I don’t really know what it is. The bad thing of a press conference 48 hours before the game is that there is still a training session tomorrow, so you cannot know what I do not know, if he’s available or not. If you ask me at this moment, I would say that he will be available, but, I don’t know.
“Apart from that, nothing from the game (Sheffield United, Thursday night) and Japhet Tanganga will, I believe, train with the team from next week.”
