Players to show their appreciation to fans on N17 Live

Fri 17 July 2020, 15:49|Tottenham Hotspur

Our players will show their appreciation for the fantastic support of our fans throughout the season during a special post-match broadcast of N17 Live on Sunday.

This will replace the usual lap of appreciation that our players, coaching staff and their families take part in following the final home game of every season.

Players to show their appreciation to fans on N17 Live

• Our players will show their appreciation for the fantastic support of our fans throughout the season during a special post-match broadcast of N17 Live on Sunday.
• Special guests on the broadcast include Spurs fan and actor, Himesh Patel, and the legendary Ledley King.
• N17 Live is available on the Club’s official Twitter, Facebook and YouTube platforms, as well as tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app.
• We’ll also announce the winners of our end-of-season awards live and play our End of Season montage.

We are taking this opportunity to give our thanks to fans at the end of what has been a challenging campaign for us all - unfortunately, one that is ending without our fans being in the stadium with us.

N17 Live is our home matchday live stream broadcast on the Club’s official Twitter, Facebook and YouTube platforms, as well as here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app.

Tune in as soon as the match ends (approximately 5.45pm UK time) for some analysis from presenter Ben Haines and our legendary former captain Ledley King.

As the players are out on the pitch, we’ll play them a short montage of messages our fans have sent in on our big screens, with the players then showing their appreciation with a round of applause and live interviews.

We’ll also announce our One Hotspur Player of the Season, Junior Player of the Season and our Goal of the Season winners - as voted for by the fans, with the trophy presentations coming to you live - as well as showing our End of Season montage.

Hugo Lloris, Club captain, said: “Playing matches in empty stadiums has reinforced what we already knew – football is nothing without the fans.

“It is important for us as players to let you know that we feel your support from all over the world, even when you are not with us at the stadium, and we thank you for sticking with us in these challenging times.”

Harry Kane, vice captain, added: “All the games have been difficult without the fans. Once you’re on the pitch and the whistle goes, you’re fully focussed on your job and trying to help the team but, of course, we’ve missed the fans.”

As usual, N17 Live will be the number one place for Spurs-focussed match build-up from 3pm ahead of the 4pm UK kick-off.

In addition to Ledley, Ben will also be joined by actor and Spurs fan, Himesh Patel, best known for his roles as Tamwar Masood in Eastenders and Emery Staines in The Luminaries. He also stars in the highly anticipated Christopher Nolan film, Tenet, soon to be released.

N17 Live will bring you team news, team arrivals, footage of the players warming up and special features right up until kick-off.

We hope you can join us.
