One Of Our Own: Tottenham Hotspur and Beavertown launch collaboration beer

The Club and its Official Craft Beer Supplier, Beavertown, have launched a collaboration beer in time for our first home game of 2020.
Brewed and sold exclusively in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, ‘One Of Our Own’ (4.9% ABV) has its roots in the classic British IPA, rebuilt with Beavertown’s own modern hoppy DNA, made up of purely European hops (Callista, Mandarina Bavaria and Barbe Rouge), with notes of stonefruit and rounded with hints of malt-sweetness.

• New beer will be available at Saturday’s huge Premier League clash against Liverpool.
‘One Of Our Own’ is produced using the microbrewery operated by Tottenham-based Beavertown inside the Club’s new home – a world first for any football stadium.
This special production has been brewed matching the preferences of the Craft Beer products supporters have favoured since the stadium opened last April.
Tom Rainsford, a Spurs fan who recently joined Beavertown as Marketing Director, came up with the name ‘One Of Our Own’ having been inspired by the Craft Beer offering at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tom said: “Beavertown's Neck Oil is already a half-time favourite, and we wanted to add to this by offering something new at the start of 2020. Supporting a club is in your bones and this beer feels the same. It’s familiar, yet distinct. A satisfying pint that makes you feel at home.
“We see Spurs as the beating heart of the Tottenham community, a central hub for football fans and residents alike. We both share values of bringing people together, creating revolutionary experiences and even world firsts like our microbrewery inside the stadium.”
‘One Of Our Own’ will be available to fans for the first time at Saturday’s huge Premier League clash against table-topping Liverpool – available to purchase from the Beavertown Tottenham Taproom in the South Stand, as well as bars located throughout the stadium.
The partnership with Beavertown is an example of how the Club has embraced its community within the new stadium by supporting local businesses that employ local people.
Beavertown is the largest independent craft brewer in London and sits at the heart of London’s growing craft beer scene. They arrived in Tottenham in 2014, having outgrown two previous brewery sites, and have made it their home ever since.
Now seven years old, Beavertown began life on a 650L kit in a BBQ joint in Haggerston, currently brewing in 5500L batches and producing around 9,000,000 pints a year with a new brewery opening in March, 2020 – capable of 90,000,000 pints.
Beavertown is the winner of two gold medals at the International Beer Challenge for core range beers Gamma Ray & Neck Oil.
