Spurs, Chelsea, one point between us, Jose back at the Bridge - it's all set up for a cracker as we take on the Blues in Saturday's early kick-off (12.30pm) in the Premier League.

Information for fans making the trip to SW6 can be found via the link below and in the meantime, here's our regular lowdown on the opposition in our 'spotlight' feature...

Team news

Frank Lampard reported on Friday that Ruben Loftus-Cheek will be back in the Chelsea squad having been sidelined since last May with an Achilles injury. He's likely to be on the bench on Saturday. N’Golo Kante is out with a muscle injury that forced him off against Manchester United on Monday. Andreas Christensen is available and will play in a mask after suffering a broken nose against United. Christian Pulisic and Tammy Abraham remain out.

Chelsea's form

The Blues have had mixed results since the turn of the year. They ended 2019 with a fine win at Arsenal on 29 December but since then, they've picked up three wins in eight, including two in the FA Cup. Indeed, since a 3-0 victory against Burnley on 11 January, Chelsea are four without a win in the Premier League, including a 2-0 loss at Manchester United on Monday.

One to watch

Regular watchers of our Academy will remember Reece James as part of Chelsea's all-conquering youth set-up alongside the likes of Tammy Abraham, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mason Mount. Loaned out to Wigan last season, where he played 45 games in the Championship, the full-back returned to Chelsea this season, made his debut in September and hasn't looked back. Capped by England at all youth levels, James, 20, already has 20 appearances under his belt this term and certainly looks one for the future in the national set up. Six feet tall, strong, quick, he tears up and down Chelsea's right flank and has scored twice already.

Last five meetings

22 December, 2019 - Spurs 0-2 Chelsea - Premier League
27 February, 2019 – Chelsea 2-0 Spurs – Premier League

The numbers game

5 - Dele has scored five goals in our last five Premier League meetings against Chelsea.

7 - Chelsea have lost seven home games in all competitions this season - you have to go back to 1985/86 (8) when they last lost more at Stamford Bridge in a single campaign.

11 - This will be the 11th time Jose Mourinho has faced his former club during spells with Manchester United, Inter and now Spurs.

56 - This will be the 56th meeting between the teams in the Premier League.

249 - Hugo Lloris is set to become only the sixth player to make 250-plus appearances for us in the Premier League. Darren Anderton tops the list on 299.

Played for both

How apt, during the week of his 80th birthday, that the two clubs where Jimmy Greaves made his name as the greatest goalscorer in England's history should meet at Stamford Bridge. Greavsie scored on his debut for Chelsea as a 17-year-old at the Lane in August, 1957. After scoring 132 goals in 169 appearances for the Blues, Jimmy switched to AC Milan at the start of the 1961/62 season, but was soon back in England and Spurs, snapped up by Bill Nicholson in December, 1961. The rest is history. Greavsie scored 266 goals in 379 appearances for us between 1961-70, lifting two FA Cups and the European Cup Winners' Cup. Six times top goalscorer in the First Division, he remains the record goalscorer in England's top flight with 357 goals for Chelsea, Spurs and West Ham.
