For the third month in a row, Heung-Min Son has won our Goal of the Month award.
Having seen his first strike of four against Southampton take the award for September and his header at Burnley earn the prize in October, it is the South Korean international’s goal in our 2-0 win over Manchester City on 21 November which has topped November’s poll among fans.
After timing his run to perfection against the Citizens, our number seven was picked out by Tanguy Ndombele’s deft chip before he rolled the ball home through the legs of goalkeeper Ederson to open the scoring after just five minutes. Giovani Lo Celso slotted home our second on 65 minutes to wrap up a huge three points at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Sonny, who grabbed his 10th goal of the Premier League season on Sunday with a sublime strike in our 2-0 win over Arsenal, claimed 47 per cent of global supporters’ votes, although his effort was pushed all the way by Harry Winks’ 50-yard curler in our 4-0 win over Ludogorets, which gathered 38 per cent of the vote. Gareth Bale’s header against Brighton, his first goal in a Spurs shirt since his return to the Club in the summer, came third with seven per cent.
Thanks to everyone who took part, and congratulations to Adam Fisher of the UK, who is the randomly-chosen winner of a £100 Spurs Gift Card from all those who voted.
