Heung-Min Son’s stunning solo effort against Burnley has been voted as the Premier League’s Budweiser Goal of the Season.
Coming in our 5-0 win over the Clarets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in December, 2019, Sonny delivered a moment of magic that we will never forget.
Picking up the ball on the edge of our box, the number seven surged away at speed downfield - travelling 71.4 metres in just 11 seconds - and left six Burnley defenders in his wake before finding the composure to place the ball past Nick Pope and into the back of the net.

He saw off competition from Harvey Barnes (Leicester v Sheffield United), Moussa Djenepo (Southampton v Sheffield United), Matt Longstaff (Newcastle v United), Alireza Jahanbakhsh (Brighton v Chelsea), Matej Vydra (Burnley v Southampton), Bruno Fernandes (United v Brighton) and Kevin De Bruyne (City v Norwich) to win the accolade.
It follows the South Korean international’s strike being named as our Goal of the Season, our ‘Goal of the Decade' and BBC Match of the Day’s Goal of the Season.
