This season, Heung-Min Son became just the fourth Spurs player in Premier League history to score at least 10 goals and provide 10 assists in a single campaign.
Continuing to shine in a Spurs shirt this year as he claimed a clean sweep of our One Hotspur Members' and Supporters' Clubs' awards for the second successive term, as well as winning the BBC Match of the Day Goal of the Season award, our South Korean star also produced an impressive total of 11 goals and 10 assists in England’s top flight for the first time to enter an exclusive ‘club’.
Out of the thousands of players to have stepped onto the pitch in the competition, only 38 have ever recorded double figures in both goals and assists in a single campaign – on average, that equates to just over one player per season achieving such a feat.
This term, three players in total reached such numbers with Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne (13 goals, 22 assists) and Liverpool's Mohammed Salah (19 goals, 20 assists) matching our number seven’s exploits.
Now on 82 goal involvements in total in England’s top flight (53 goals, 29 assists), Sonny has also followed in the footsteps of just three other Spurs players to score and assist 10-plus times in a single Premier League season – Jurgen Klinsmann (1994/95), Emmanuel Adebayor (2011/12) and Christian Eriksen (2017/18).
