We advise fans attending Sunday’s inaugural NFL game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium between Chicago Bears and Oakland Raiders (6pm) to take note of the following travel advice.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is a public transport destination. With no parking available, local road closures in place from 8am and an extended Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ), we encourage fans not to drive and to assess all public transport options before travelling.
The stadium is served by four train stations
1. White Hart Lane (London Overground): approx. five-minute walk to the stadium.
2. Northumberland Park (Abellio Greater Anglia services): approx. 10-minute walk to the stadium.
3. Tottenham Hale (Victoria line and Abellio Greater Anglia services): approx. 25-minute walk to the stadium.
4. Seven Sisters (Victoria line and London Overground): approx. 30-minute walk to the stadium.
With the potential of a late finish and the game going into over-time, please see below a list of times for the last trains leaving the local area to help you plan your journey home:
• Victoria line to central London – 23:35
• Northumberland Park to Stratford – 23:12
• Northumberland Park to Liverpool Street – 23:44
• Northumberland Park to Bishop’s Stortford – 00:14
• Northumberland Park to London Stansted Airport – 23:39
• White Hart Lane to Cheshunt – 23:37
• White Hart Lane to Enfield Town – 23:52
• White Hart Lane to Liverpool Street Overground stopping service – 23:42
• White Hart Lane to Liverpool Street non-stopping Overground and Abellio trains – 23:47 to 00:19
We recommend the following if you are travelling into Liverpool Street after the game:
• If you are located in the North or West Stand, use White Hart Lane
• If you are located in the South or East Stand, use Northumberland Park
Managed queuing operations will be in place at all stations after the game. Please take note of on-street signage upon leaving the stadium and listen carefully to the advice of stewards.
Fans using the Victoria line to travel into central London post-game are reminded that Tottenham Hale is a shorter walk than Seven Sisters.
Any fans unable to board a Victoria line train before it closes are advised that additional later Abellio Greater Anglia and London Overground trains will run to Liverpool Street from Northumberland Park/Tottenham Hale and White Hart Lane/Seven Sisters respectively.
Before the game, please be aware that the Victoria line is likely to be extremely busy between 11.30am and 1.30pm due to Arsenal’s home match with Bournemouth, kick-off 2pm.
Rail and Ride
We are providing free shuttle bus services from Alexandra Palace and Wood Green stations.
The buses are in operation three hours before and two hours after a game. However, you are not advised to catch any service less than 50 minutes before the game starts to allow for the travel time and security checks at the stadium.
Although the service is free for all fans attending the game to use, you will need to register via the link below before the game and present your e-ticket to bus staff before entry.
