Kane, Winks and our latest England milestones
Mon 18 November 2019, 12:40|Tottenham Hotspur
Harry Kane added his name to England's history books with his goal against Kosovo in Euro 2020 qualifying on Sunday.
The skipper's goal - the second in England's 4-0 win - took his tally to 12 in 2019. That equals former Chelsea and West Ham striker George Hilsdon (1908) and legendary former Everton hitman Dixie Dean (1927) as players with the most goals for the Three Lions in a calendar year.
Peter Crouch had held the record for post-war internationals with 11 goals for England in 2006.
Harry also completed a clean sweep of scoring in each of England's eight qualifying matches as they topped Group A on the way to next summer's finals.
Winksy joins our England goalscorers
Harry Winks became the 31st Spur to score for England with his debut goal for the Three Lions. Winksy ran from deep to take Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's pass, cut through the Kosovo defence and finish in style for England's opener in Pristina.
The midfielder now has six caps to his name - and a 100% winning record.

Kane moves up our England cap list
Harry Kane has moved up to second in the list of England caps won by Spurs players. The skipper led out the Three Lions in Kosovo for his 45th cap, lifting him over legendary former midfielder and Spurs/England manager Glenn Hoddle.
He has five caps to go to overtake Jermain Defoe - 49 of his 57 caps during his time at Spurs - reach the half-century and therefore become the most capped England player while at Spurs.
That would complete the double - he's already our top goalscorer for England, up to 32 goals with his strike on Sunday night.
