Mauricio Pochettino gave a positive update on the fitness of four players on Monday as the Champions League Final draws ever closer.

Harry Kane, Davinson Sanchez, Harry Winks and Jan Vertongen have now been integrated back into first team training.

The team is in the final days of preparation ahead of the final at Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Saturday (8pm UK).

Asked about Harry's fitness in Monday's media day at Hotspur Way, Mauricio responded: "Harry Kane in the last week, Friday and Saturday, started to be involved with the group. It's very positive, the situation with him.

The four players started Friday and Saturday to be involved with the group. That made everyone very positive that they can be available at the weekend. That’s very good news

"We have one week ahead to see how he is progressing. It’s so important that he feels well and he’s very positive. We’ll see what happens, but we are so, so positive and happy with his progression, like Jan Vertonghen, Harry Winks and Davinson Sanchez who are in the same process.

"The four players started Friday and Saturday to be involved with the group. That made everyone very positive that they can be available at the weekend. That’s very good news for us."

Asked again about Harry, Mauricio added: "Football is a collective sport. With one or another, we need to believe we can beat our opponents. With Harry Kane, that's better. If he’s available, that's better. Harry Kane is always going to help the team.

"But it’s not him and the rest of the team. He's so humble. He's a very normal person, one of our stars. If he's ready, I'm the first person to be more than happy, but we need to make the right decision. We're going to take the best decision to try to win."
