June looks set to be a busy month for the Spurs Legends charity team as they look to build some winning momentum.
The team of former players, headed up by Mark Falco, is currently scheduled to take part in three fixtures throughout the month, having endured a rocky start to their 2019 season.
They suffered a disappointing 6-1 loss to GB Over-45s at Rowley Lane near Barnet on 19 May, Jeff Minton on target from the spot after Ramon Vega had earlier missed a penalty, but rebounded with a 5-3 win over a Wivenhoe Tempest FC XI in a friendly as part of the Greystock Festival in Essex six days later. David Howells netted a hat-trick with substitute Micky Southam responsible for the other two goals.
