Harry Kane has become the first Spurs player to score 20 goals-plus in five successive seasons.

The striker reached 20 in all competitions for 2018/19 with a penalty to secure victory in our Carabao Cup semi-final, first leg against Chelsea on Tuesday night.

He's now hit 20-plus in 2014/15 (31), 2015/16 (28), 2016/17 (35), 2017/18 (41) and this season.

Jimmy Greaves reached 20-plus in seven seasons for us - but having achieved the feat four seasons on the trot, scored 16 in 1965/66 after missing three months through hepatitis. Bobby Smith and Martin Chivers both hit 20-plus for four successive seasons but then Bobby scored 15 in 1961/62 and Martin bagged 11 in 1974/75.

Academy graduate Harry scored his first Spurs goal in the Europa League against Hearts back in August, 2011 but had to wait until the end of the 2013/14 campaign for his first run in the team when he scored his first Premier League goals.

His breakthrough came the following season under Mauricio Pochettino when having scored eight goals in the Europa League and League Cup, he hit a late winner off the bench at Villa on 2 November, 2014 - arguably the most important goal of his career. He was selected from there and responded with 31 goals in all competitions, 21 in the league.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Now 25, Harry reached 100 Spurs goals at Everton in September, 2017, 100 Premier League goals at Liverpool in February, 2018 and his penalty against Chelsea lifted him into fourth place in the Club's all-time goalscoring list on 160, above Cliff Jones.

He's shone for England as well. Harry captained the Threee Lions to the semi-finals of last summer's World Cup and won the tournament's Golden Boot. He was awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours list.
