Mauricio Pochettino reports that Dele Alli is 'doing well' and being assessed daily as he recovers from a hamstring injury.

The midfielder is continuing with his on-field rehabilitation after picking up the injury at Fulham on 20 January. Seven goals in 25 appearances before this setback, Dele has been sidelined for our last seven matches.

“We need to assess him day by day,” said Mauricio in his pre-Chelsea press conference after training on Tuesday. “He’s doing well but we cannot say he’s going to be available for this weekend or for next week against Borussia Dortmund (Tuesday 5 March) or Southampton (Saturday 9 March). We hope he can be available as soon as possible. For sure, tomorrow is impossible, then we’ll see.”

Dele scores to help us win 2-1 in his last appearance at Fulham on 20 January
