Jan Vertonghen's outstanding performance against Borussia Dortmund has been recognised by being named Champions League Player of the Week by UEFA.

The Belgian international starred in the memorable 3-0 win in the Round of 16, first leg against the Bundesliga leaders at Wembley.

Lining-up on the left of our 3-4-1-2 system, Jan provided the cross for Heung-Min Son to open the scoring on 47 minutes before scoring the second himself on 83 minutes. Fernando Llorente completed the scoring three minutes later.

Jan took the vote on UEFA.com from PSG's Marco Verratti, Roma's Nicolo Zaniolo and Real Madrid's Thibaut Courtois.
