Ahead of tomorrow’s fixture against West Ham United, which will be dedicated to raising funds for the Club’s official charity partner - Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, Manager Mauricio Pochettino and Assistant Manager Jesus Perez visited The Ark, the charity’s new hospice building.

There are more than 1,200 children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions in the charity’s catchment area, but currently no children’s hospice building. Through the #BuildingTheArk campaign, Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, who have been the charity partner of the Club since 2016, are raising funds to construct The Ark.

The Ark is being built on a 7.5-acre nature reserve and will provide a relaxing space for children and their families to connect with others facing similar challenges. The Ark will offer a range of children’s palliative care services including a sensory room, sensory garden, drop-in facility for families to come and meet, overnight stays for children and families and after death care.

Mauricio Pochettino and Jesus Perez met staff from the charity who gave them a tour of the facility, and also spent time talking to a family who are supported by Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice who will use the new hospice building when it’s complete.

By texting NOAH005 to 70970 fans can donate £5 which will be used to help build The Ark.

Mauricio said: “It’s been a pleasure visiting The Ark and seeing how the hospice is progressing. I have been really impressed with the facility and I am sure that once it is open, it will be a fantastic space for families in North London to get the help they require. We are very proud of our partnership with Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, and I wish them the best of luck as they move into their new home.”

At Saturday’s fixture against West Ham United, we will be celebrating our partnership with Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. Our players will warm-up in special edition t-shirts and our much-loved mascots Chirpy and Lily will be joined on the pitch by Noah’s Ark mascots, Henry and Harriet. Volunteers will be situated around the stadium campus with contactless donation boxes should fans wish to donate to this worthy cause.

Earlier this season, Mauricio Pochettino supported Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice at the annual BGC Partners and Cantor Fitzgerald Charity Day which raised £75,000 for The Ark.

We have moved into our new home. Now let’s help Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice move into theirs.
