There is news on two of our senior goalkeepers ahead of Wednesday night's Carabao Cup tie against Watford at Stadium MK.

Hugo Lloris, missing in recent weeks because of a thigh injury, has now progressed to field work.

Meanwhile, the swelling around Michel Vorm's knee has improved and the 34-year-old continues rehabilitation after missing Saturday's win at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Speaking after training on Tuesday, Mauricio Pochettino reported: "The situation is that Hugo is doing well and we’ll see for next week, maybe, or the week after. Michel still has a small problem in his knee and is recovering. Of course, it’s Paulo (Gazzaniga) and we have Alfie (Whiteman) and Brandon (Austin), they are in contention. We are so relaxed, we have quality goalkeepers."

Kick-off in the third round tie is at 8pm.
