Christian: "We need to get back on track against Liverpool"

Less than an hour after the final whistle at Watford and Christian Eriksen was looking ahead.
"We’re very disappointed," he said after the 2-1 loss at Vicarage Road, ending our 100% start after three wins in three in the Premier League. “We want and expect to win every game and losing is not something we often do, luckily.
"We need to get back on track and do that against Liverpool. That’s the perfect occasion to come back and we’ll do that."
On top of the palpable disappointment, it’s fair to say there was a feeling of surprise at our first defeat of the season after taking the lead.
We looked in control when Abdoulaye Doucoure turned Lucas Moura’s cross into his own net for 1-0 on 53 minutes but Troy Deeney and Craig Cathcart turned the game around for the home team with headers from set-pieces.
That was our first defeat in 43 matches in the Premier League after taking the lead, going back to November, 2016 - since that loss at Chelsea, we’d won 40 and drawn two after going ahead.
We had chances, didn’t finish the game and they scored from two set-pieces - we can’t be satisfied with that
"It’s not something that often happens to us," said Christian, as it was suggested that we looked good for the win after taking the lead.
"That’s what everyone felt, everyone had the feeling that they were not going to score but they got a free-kick in a dangerous place, a decent cross and a good header,” he added.
"We had chances, didn’t finish the game and they scored from two set-pieces - we can’t be satisfied with that.
"The result against United (3-0 last week) was exceptional but we’re down to earth again. This is football, anything can happen in any game, it goes so quickly with ups and downs."
