Harry Kane and Eric Dier are relishing the prospect of facing Barcelona, PSV and Inter in the Champions League.
The draw, held this evening in Monaco, pitted us with the La Liga champions, Dutch champions and FC Internazionale Milano, who finished fourth in Italy’s Serie A.
“It’s a brilliant draw, games at famous stadiums like the Nou Camp, the San Siro, it’s a really good draw, one to relish,” said Harry.
You want to play in big games against the best players and this draw gives us a chance as a Club to once again test ourselves against the best.
Harry netted seven goals in seven games as we reached the knockout last season after topping a group including Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
Along the way, we created fresh memories to treasure in the competition – particularly beating Los Blancos at Wembley, doing the double over Dortmund and coming back from 2-0 down at Juventus, only to go out against the Italian champions in the last 16.
“We showed people last season that we can compete at this level, particularly when you look at the games against Real Madrid, who went on to win the tournament,” added Harry.

“Barca will be a different test but to play in the Nou Camp against some of the best players in the world...it’s fantastic to play in these types of games.
“You want to play in big games against the best players and this draw gives us a chance as a Club to once again test ourselves against the best.
"PSV will be tough, a huge team in Holland and Inter as well, a great history. As I said, it’s a brilliant draw.”
It’s a fantastic challenge for us, one we’ll look forward to and one we’re ready for.
Eric added: "We’re in the Champions League to play the best teams and Barcelona are definitely one of them. Having played against Real Madrid last season, there is some symmetry to it, playing Barca this time around. It’s a fantastic challenge for us, one we’ll look forward to and one we’re ready for.
"You want to test yourselves against the best players in the world, but we don’t want to just test ourselves, we want to compete against them. That’s definitely the case with Barcelona.
"Inter have been a bit of a sleeping giant in the last few years. The Club has history against them in the Champions League so it’s great to play a team like that and PSV, another very well-known European side and Dutch teams are always very strong and play a nice style of football – every game will bring up different challenges and it’s exciting for us. We’ll be ready for all of those challenges."
