Zeki Fryers admitted he was thrilled to see Christian Eriksen’s late strike bulge the net at West Brom on Saturday.
We went 3-0 down inside 31 minutes at The Hawthorns before another stirring fightback saw us emerge with a share of the spoils.
First Kyle Naughton’s cross was deflected into his own net by Jonas Olsson, before second half goals from Harry Kane and Christian brought us back to 3-3.
Defender Zeki, who was introduced off the bench at half-time, said he believed a revival was on the cards after the arrears were initially reduced in the first period.
“We knew we were still in the game at 3-1 and another goal might tip it in our favour,” Zeki said. “We kept working hard, showed focus and concentration and managed to pull it back to 3-3.
“Credit to West Brom and their start, they did well.
“But it was a great feeling when Christian scored. We thought we might go on to win the game, even with two minutes left.
“Had we played how we did in the second half for the whole game and not conceded early, we probably would have won.”
