Nabil Bentaleb is ready to try and scupper South Korea’s passing game as Algeria look to get their first points on the board at the World Cup today.
Our starlet took his place at the heart of Algeria’s central midfield operation as they sought to contain Belgium in Tuesday’s Group H curtain-raiser.
Two goals from the Red Devils in the final 20 minutes of that match consigned Nabil’s nation to a 2-1 defeat.
But with a fresh chance to get off the mark against South Korea this evening, kick-off 8pm, 19-year-old Nabil is eager to take maximum points from the game.
“I know about South Korea and I know they’re a very good team,” he said. “They’re maybe not quite as strong physically, but they can pass the ball really well.
“I think we have to be careful against them.”
