Roberto Soldado wants to see some of the positives from our away performances find their way into our home matches – starting against Stoke City.
The Potters come to White Hart Lane for a 1.30pm kick-off on Sunday on the back of a 2-2 draw with West Ham United last weekend.
Of course, our late turnaround at Aston Villa last time out in the Premier League was preceded by a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United in our most recent domestic outing in N17.
It’s results like the latter that striker Roberto is keen to avoid – and he’s targeting maximum points against the Potters in a bid to turn our fortunes at the Lane around.
“Our next Premier League match is at home against Stoke, which will be difficult game, but we need to get another three points,” said the Spaniard.
“We feel good away from home after the Villa game and now we need to follow that up at home in the league in front of our own fans.
“With our supporters behind us it makes things easier for us but it’s down to us as players to do our bit, because then it can push the team on further.”
