Emmanuel Adebayor rued our missed chances as we bowed out of the FA Cup at Arsenal on Saturday.
Goals in each half from Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky gave the Gunners a 2-0 victory in our third round meeting at the Emirates.
And striker Ade explained afterwards that any team facing Arsenal needs to make sure they convert their chances, as they may be few and far between.
“It was a tough game,” Ade reflected. “We knew before coming here it was going to be very tough, but I think we played quite well.
“We had a lot of chances but we didn’t take them. We know that, playing at Arsenal, if we have a chance we have to take it. They took their chances and punished us and that’s it to be honest.
“They moved the ball very well. They are through. We just have to focus on the league now and do everything it takes to win against Crystal Palace on Saturday. For me that is the most important thing now.”
