UPDATED - change to travel advice for fans going to Wembley

Thu 12 April 2012, 18:01|Tottenham Hotspur

We have now been advised that fans can use either of Wembley's three stations as they travel to the semi-final on Sunday.

If we receive any further updates to the travel advice we will publish here on tottenhamhotspur.com and through our usual communication channels, so please keep an eye out.

We kick-off at 6pm and our supporters will be in the West end of the stadium.

Once again we should like to ask all our supporters to please remember that you are ambassadors of the Club and we would request that you behave accordingly throughout the entirety of your visit to Wembley on Sunday. The Club is rightly proud of our loyal support and we all hope you have an enjoyable day.

Fans can take a look at the view from their seat via Wembley Stadium's website - http://www.wembleystadium.com/TheStadium/ViewFromYourSeat.aspx - CLICK HERE...

Fans are advised not to purchase tickets from unofficial sources ahead of the match and should be aware of the possibility that forged tickets could be in circulation.

Fans are also advised that the London Borough of Brent is a Controlled Drinking Zone (CDZ).

It is an offence to consume alcohol on the streets or public places and can result in arrest. Persons found in possession of alcohol in these areas will have it seized by police and disposed of.

There are closures on the London Underground/Overground but none that should directly impact our supporters travelling to the match.

At present there are the following closures:

- No Circle Line

- District Line closed between Earl’s Court and Aldgate East, and Turnham Green to Richmond.

There is a full service scheduled to operate on the Victoria, Piccadilly (to and from the Tottenham area) and on the Metropolitan, Jubilee and Bakerloo lines (to and from Wembley).

There are a couple of London Overground closures (Richmond to Willesden Junction and Queen’s Park to Watford Junction) but these should have a limited impact on most Tottenham supporters travelling to and from the game.

TRAVEL GUIDELINES FROM WEMBLEY STADIUM

The following information has been put together by Wembley Stadium to assist our fans travelling to Sunday's semi-final.

All fans are encouraged to check with the appropriate transport providers closer to Sunday for any updates.

CAR PARKING

Parking is available in the official car parks adjacent to Wembley Stadium and can be pre-booked via City and Suburban Parking (CSP). For pricing or to book a space, please visit http://www.gotocsp.com - CLICK HERE...

Alternatively call the telephone booking line on: 0208 795 1758 and leave your name and number and CSP will return your call. Up to 2900 car park spaces are available including dedicated areas for blue badge holders, coaches, minibus and motorcycles.

There are a number of unauthorised car parking operators within the Industrial Estate on the approach to the Wembley complex. For your own protection, we would strongly advise that you do not use these and choose Wembley City Official parking.

The local authority operates a protective parking zone on event days, extending in a 1.5 mile radius around the Stadium. Only residents with permits will be allowed to park within this zone and the local council has stated that illegally parked vehicles will be issued with large parking fines and/or towed away.

Complimentary bicycle parking is available on street level (B2) in the north east corner of the Stadium (near the Green car park).

To avoid ticket office queues when leaving the Stadium, we recommend you buy your Tube ticket as part of your National Rail ticket. Alternatively, buy an Oyster card online in advance.
