Travel information - controlled parking zone

Supporters are reminded that new parking regulations across Tottenham have been introduced from this morning - Monday, March 17. This change is as a result of a comprehensive residents consultation exercise carried out by the London Borough of Haringey, in order to safeguard community parking in light of the wide-scale regeneration which is beginning to get underway across the whole of the Tottenham area. These changes will impact parking both on matchdays and non-matchdays.

The new regulations, being introduced by the London Borough of Haringey, amend the parking controls, which have been in effect since January 19, 2008.

‘All-week’ Controlled Parking Zones

As a result of this consultation, three new ‘all-week’ CPZs are being introduced across Tottenham. The three new controlled parking zones are the Tottenham North CPZ, which is located around the stadium and will operate from Monday to Saturday 8.00am to 6.30pm (see below for further details); the Tottenham Hale North CPZ and the Tower Gardens CPZ, which will operate Monday to Sunday 8.00am to 6:30pm.

Event Day CPZ

The new zones will also be in operation on all matchdays with the zones at Tottenham Hale and Tower Gardens covering a larger area during matchdays (to be introduced on 30 March 2014).

In addition to the new zones, the current event day CPZ has been revised and will now be extended eastwards to include Garman Road and Marsh Lane up to Watermead way.

CPZ Timings 

There will also be a revision to the timings of the event day CPZ with it being in operation from 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday , and from 12 noon to 8pm on Sundays and Public Holidays within the core all week CPZ area and the outer area 12 noon to 8pm on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

Therefore the new operational hours for the CPZs on event days will be:

•       Tottenham North all week CPZ - 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday, on Sundays and Public holidays from 12 noon to 8pm

•       Outer area Event Day CPZ - 5pm to 8.30pm  Monday to Friday, and Saturday, Sunday & Public holidays from 12 noon to 8pm

Tottenham North CPZ Details

On non-matchdays, the new Tottenham North CPZ will operate throughout the week, from Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm. The boundaries of the Tottenham North CPZ are Park Lane and Church Road to the south; the borough boundary with Enfield to the north; Tariff Road/Worcester Avenue and Park Lane Close to the east; and Tenterden Road/Beaufoy Road and the railway line to the west.

The Regulations

These regulations prevent on-street parking in the controlled zones for all non-residents, with the exception of mobility impaired motorists who have a valid Blue Badge parking permit. Penalty Charge Notices will be issued to all drivers who ignore the regulations.
