It's no surprise to learn that Tom Huddlestone loves his comedy as he reveals in the latest issue of hotspur magazine - out now.
Tom is one of the jokers in the dressing room and tells the October issue of the club's popular official magazine that he loves stand-ups and comedy programmes on television.
Asked what makes him laugh and Tom states: "On a personal level it's when my friends bite when I'm pulling their legs! But I also love stand-up comedians and have seen the likes of Jimmy Carr and Chubby Brown. I've already bought tickets for Lee Mack's upcoming show. I enjoy any comic show and am waiting for Peter Key to do something again as he's probably the best in the business."
Meanwhile, asked about his favourite film/TV, Tom adds: " I watch Eastenders and Coronation Street but again I mainly go for comedies like Gavin & Stacey, The Inbetweeners, Live at the Apollo and Live at Jongleurs."
Returning to matters on the pitch, Tom tells us his favourite goal was his first league goal at Manchester City in 2006, his most respected opponent is Liverpool's Steven Gerrard and that the biggest influences on his career are his mum and grandad. "My mother didn't drive so grandad took me training. Unfortunately he's passed on now but I'm glad he saw me play for Derby."
