We are delighted to confirm that a grand total of £56,409 was raised for the Royal British Legion during last year’s Remembrance campaign.
Fundraising activities included an auction of match-worn Poppy shirts from November’s North London derby at Arsenal and the sale of limited edition pin badges at our home match with Leicester the previous weekend.
Members of our Armed Forces Spurs Supporters’ Club were invited to that match, where the Last Post and a Minute’s Silence was observed before kick-off, while Poppy wreaths were laid at memorial services held within the local area by Mousa Dembele and Ledley King.
We thank fans for their generosity once again in supporting the UK’s leading Service charity, providing practical care, advice and support to serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans of all ages and their families.
