Left-back Danny Rose is set to see a specialist after undergoing a scan yesterday (Thursday, February 2) on his left knee, Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed.
The flying left-back wasn’t involved in last weekend’s FA Cup tie with Wycombe Wanderers due to a slight knee problem but after coming back into the starting line-up for Tuesday’s trip to Sunderland, he was forced off in the first half after taking a further knock.
Mauricio was reluctant to put a time frame on any potential absence today, insisting he will await the outcome of Danny’s consultation with a specialist on Monday first.
“Danny Rose had his scan yesterday,” he told Spurs TV. “Now we need to wait until Monday when he is going to see the specialist and we’ll see afterwards.”
