Swansea vs Spurs - betting preview with Marathonbet

Sat 13 December 2014, 09:08|Tottenham Hotspur

Travelling to Swansea this weekend, Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be looking for three points to enable them to gain ground on their rivals in a tight domestic battle.

The Swans will be hoping that the match allows them to banish the memory of last week’s 3-1 loss away to West Ham United but they will have to go about their task without the suspended Lukasz Fabianski.

History is on Spurs' side though, with the Londoners yet to lose any of the six Barclays Premier League meetings between the two clubs.

However, Garry Monk’s side are a force at home (17 of their 22-point tally have come from games at the Liberty Stadium) and possess the most potent Barclays Premier League striker in 2014, Wilfried Bony.

That will do little to dampen Spurs’ confidence though and the away side can be backed to return to London with the three points at 99/50.

Given the change in keepers, Spurs to win by a goal offers value at 77/20 while the possibility of both teams scoring (37/50) appears quite likely.

With many players rested on Thursday night, Pochettino should be able to select a relatively fresh eleven. A Spurs win and under 2.5 goals is 51/10 – or, if you believe there will be more goals, the same outcome at over 2.5 goals is 37/10.
