Glenn has admitted to being a big fan of Middlesbrough's Alen Boksic and views the striker as a big threat on Saturday.

The boss has previously gone on record as being a great admirer of the Croatian and explains that there was once a chance of the experienced hit man joining Spurs.

"He's a class player and I've always liked Alen Boksic. We were close to him coming here, but it didn't quite work out as he was injured.

"He's a good player, he's an excellent player, experienced and he's proved that he can score goals in this country."

Boksic appears to have been galvansised at the Riverside by the recruitment of Italian livewire Benito Carnone and Glenn feels the duo could be a handful if on song.

"He's got a bit of an understanding with Carbone, be it that they haven't been together too long. They are two class acts and on their day. If they are on top form, then you are going to have to defend well as a team."
