Spurs weekend preview – all the fixtures for our sides

Fri 23 September 2016, 08:42|Tottenham Hotspur

A run-down of which of our teams are in action this weekend and who their opponents are.

First team
MIDDLESBROUGH v SPURS
Premier League
Saturday, September 24, 2016
Riverside Stadium, 3pm

We take on Middlesbrough for the first time since March, 2009, when we make the long trip to the north east and the Riverside Stadium this weekend.

We'll be looking for our third victory in six days following league and cup wins over Sunderland and Gillingham.

Boro, meanwhile, have collected five points from their opening five league games to date, their only win coming at Sunderland. Defeats to Crystal Palace and Everton have followed since.

Development squad
SOUTHAMPTON v SPURS
Premier League 2
Friday, September 23, 2016
St Mary's Stadium, 7pm

After a crushing 6-2 home defeat at the hands of Liverpool on Monday, our development squad players have an opportunity to respond quickly with a trip to Southampton this evening.

The Saints were also in Premier League 2 action on Monday, battling out a 2-2 draw with Leicester City.

Under-18s
SWANSEA CITY v SPURS
Under-18 Premier League
Saturday, September 24, 2016
Landore Training Centre, 11am

Our Under-18s face one of their longest trips of the season this weekend as they visit Swansea City.

We completed a league double over the south Wales club at this level last term but, after only taking a point following a dominant performance at home to Norwich City last Saturday, the players will be keen to take it a step further and claim their first points of the season on the road this weekend.
