Spurs vs Palace - Mauricio's preview

Focus is the key word for Mauricio Pochettino ahead of this afternoon’s clash against Crystal Palace at the Lane.

The target is a repeat of the fine performance and result from our last home match against Everton last weekend.

In-between, we started well at Chelsea before succumbing to a 3-0 loss at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Palace, meanwhile,  beat Liverpool at Selhurst Park before picking up a point at Swansea last weekend only to lose at home to Villa on Tuesday.

“The Premier League is very competitive and you have to be careful with all teams,” said Mauricio.

“Each game is different. Palace have very good players, a tough team to play. It’s important to show respect for the opposition but we need to be focused on our game.

“It’s important to keep the feeling and try to play in the same way as we did against Everton.

“This is our challenge, to build and to move forward every game.”
