Spurs vs Leicester - Mauricio's preview

Sat 21 March 2015, 08:45|Tottenham Hotspur

Mauricio Pochettino believes Leicester City are in a false position in the Premier League.

The Foxes arrive at the Lane for a 3pm kick-off this afternoon (Saturday, March 21) sitting at the foot of the table.

They’ve won just two of their last 10 but that run includes draws against Liverpool and Everton and narrow one-goal losses to Palace, Stoke and Arsenal.

“Every game is a danger and because of that, it’s important to be focused and whether we’re playing Manchester United or Leicester, it’s always about us,” said Mauricio.

“Leicester are much better than where they are in the table.

“In recent games they’ve changed the system and they are a difficult team to beat. They have some very good players but as I said, we need to focus on our own game, try to play together and try to get the three points.”

As always, Mauricio said our fans will play a big part at the Lane. “They are always important,” he added. “To travel to Manchester is always difficult and we weren’t good enough (last weekend) but we’re always proud of them because we can always feel the energy of their support.”
