Nacer Chadli is convinced we can turn around a 1-0 deficit against Dnipro when we lock horns again in the second leg of our Europa League Round of 32, second leg at the Lane tonight.
The Belgian international started his third match in this season’s competition and completed the 90 minutes as we fell to defeat in the first leg at the Dnipro Arena last week.
He had a couple of chances as well - firing just wide in the first half and then just failing to convert Harry Kane's flick in the final moments - as Yevhen Konoplyanka’s late penalty handed the Ukraine team a narrow advantage.
It's all to play for as we meet again at the Lane this evening.
“We had the chances to score, we didn’t manage to do it but now we have the return and I think we can make the difference,” said Nacer, who has now racked up 25 appearances in all competitions.
“Dnipro played on the counter-attack and were dangerous as well, but I feel sure we can score goals at home. I believe we can make it.
“We have the quality to do it and we know we can make a difference at home with the fans right behind us.”
