Spurs TV breaks new ground with Matchday Show from Wembley

The Club will bring its global fanbase an exclusive digital broadcast from Wembley ahead of this Sunday’s League Cup Final against Chelsea.

Spurs TV will run a simulcast on our official Facebook page and tottenhamhotspur.com to the millions of fans around the world expected to tune in on the big day.

The Matchday Show will be co-hosted by Ledley King, the last player to captain us to Wembley glory in 2008, and feature a host of engaging build-up content.

Highlights will include interviews with Chairman Daniel Levy, members of the 2008 League Cup-winning team, such as Jonathan Woodgate and Jermaine Jenas, celebrity fans and current players, including an exclusive with popular striker Harry Kane.

Ledley King, now a Club Ambassador, will also answer questions sent in by fans via Facebook on air during the show that begins at 12:30GMT, ahead of the 16:00GMT kick-off against Chelsea.

This live broadcast by Tottenham Hotspur is another example of the authentic and engaging approach the Club has taken with its fan base, on what is sure to be a memorable day for the Club and its fans."

The digital broadcast is designed to complement a downloadable Cup Final party pack the Club has made available for our fans to feel part of the big day, no matter where they are watching from in the world.

With an estimated global fanbase of over 450 million, and over 100 active Official Supporters Clubs in more than 40 countries around the world, the party pack will provide fans not at Wembley with decorative bunting, party games, player face masks and recipes for mini beef burgers and cakes.
