Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Half term in February saw lots of footballing fun for young Spurs across North London, Enfield, Essex and Hertfordshire.

With 15 venues across these areas, the Tottenham Hotspur team of coaches were able to offer their expert coaching at schools and leisure facilities for children aged six to 14. The Tottenham Hotspur Community Soccer Schools help children learn basic football skills including passing, ball control, dribbling, turning and shooting, along with taking part in small-sided games and competitions.

Nine-year-old Jack attended the Spurs Soccer School at Wodson Park Sports Centre in Ware: "I had fun all week learning new skills, I want to be able to score like Jermain Defoe and our coach Andy gave me tips on striking and how to score," he reflected. Jack said the best thing about the course was "playing games at the end of each day so were able to show what we had learnt."

The Easter holidays are now approaching and, with new venues in Enfield and Brentwood, this holiday 17 venues will be hosting Spurs Soccer Schools. Courses will be running in North London from Monday 21 March to Friday 1 April, Enfield and Hertfordshire from Tuesday 29 March to Friday 8 April and in Essex from Monday 11 April to Friday 22 April.

All the Tottenham Hotspur Community coaches are FA qualified hold a First Aid certificate and have been Criminal Records Bureau checked to enhanced level.
