Sergio Aguero's opener for City was added to five minutes into the second period when Yaya Toure converted from the penalty spot following the dismissal of Danny Rose for a foul on Edin Dzeko inside the area.
Dzeko made it 3-0, Etienne Capoue pulled one back for us with his first Spurs goal, before Stevan Jovetic and Vincent Kompany completed a 5-1 win for the visitors.
