Spurs fans have again shown their incredible support to our Armed Forces, by exceeding last year’s total of £38,000 from the auction of our Poppy Shirts.

The total from this year’s Poppy Shirt auction will be in excess of £40,000, a fantastic response, as always, from our supporters.

This is the third year we have been able to raise one of the largest amounts from Premier League Clubs, and further enhances Spurs’ supporters and the Club’s reputation in this area.

Prior to Monday night’s Premier League match against Aston Villa, the Club will welcome onto the pitch members of the 1st and 4th Battalions of the Rifles regiment.

During half-time Les Ferdinand will hand over a cheque for the money raised by the auction of the Poppy Shirts, to WO1 Colin Nufer, who will accept it on behalf of the Royal British Legion.

We are delighted to be able to support our troops and are proud to be able to provide tickets to our home matches for use by our Armed Forces and their families.

The auction took place on Ebay – fans can donate a percentage of any auction items they sell at anytime throughout the year by choosing to donate to Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and Spurs Wishes.
