The first Hall of Fame dinner took place at the Lane last Thursday evening to honour the great Bill Nicholson and the THTV camera was there to collect the thoughts of some of the leading characters from the Nicholson era!

In this THTV exclusive, the Features section within the 'Link to the Lodge' Channel 4 contains extended interviews with Dave Mackay and Maurice Norman (pictured), who talk about Bill and the double winning side.

We also caught up with host for the evening John Motson, who reflected on watching from the Shelf in the sixties, Pat Jennings on the problem of living up to the example set by the '61 side and David Pleat recalls watching the double team in action at Nottingham Forest.
