Nabil Bentaleb took Man of the Match honours from our supporters after Sunday’s 3-1 victory at Newcastle United.
The 20-year-old came up with a box-to-box display and drove us forward from midfield as we put the Magpies to the sword at St James’ Park.
He also headed just over the bar as he went close to getting on the scoresheet in the second half.
As such, the Algeria international took 52.4 per cent of supporters’ votes for Man of the Match – cast across our official Twitter and Facebook platforms and our online Match Centre.
Harry Kane, who netted his 30th goal of the season in all competitions in stoppage time to seal the points, was runner-up in the poll with 29.3 per cent of the votes.
MAN OF THE MATCH – NEWCASTLE UNITED
Nabil Bentaleb – 52.4%
Harry Kane – 29.3%
Nacer Chadli – 18.3%
Thanks, as always, to everyone who voted.
