Tue 25 March 2014, 08:40|Tottenham Hotspur

The Tottenham Hotspur Global Coaching team has partnered with DGI in Denmark to create a new player development programme.

Coaches from Spurs’ roster of FA and UEFA-qualified full time professional coaching teams will be providing courses for young players this summer.

Christian Eriksen is lending his support to the initiative, and replica Eriksen shirts will be available to all attendees on the course.

Christian said: “It should be a very good week with the great coaches from the Spurs Global Coaching Team. I’m sure young players in Denmark will be looking forward to it.”

Course organiser Lau Frøkjær commented: “This is an exciting opportunity for Danish youngsters to follow in the footsteps of Christian, and learn to play the Tottenham way.”

Andy Rogers, Tottenham Hotspur Global Coaching Team Manager, said: “We are delighted to be able to strengthen our ties with Denmark, and in particular with DGI. We look forward to a long and successful relationship, as we deliver our player development programme in conjunction with DGI.”
