Nabil's tale of two Cities

Nabil Bentaleb is eyeing a quick response as we seek to put Wednesday’s reverse against Manchester City behind us with a positive result at Hull.

The 19-year-old tasted Premier League defeat for the first time in midweek, playing 90 minutes in the centre of midfield against a rampant visiting side that took full advantage of having an extra man on the field following the dismissal of left-back Danny Rose.

The youngster once again demonstrated admirable maturity throughout a difficult evening at White Hart Lane, and was typically honest in his assessment of our predicament.

“The first thing we have to do is bounce back from the Manchester City game,” said Nabil, anticipating Saturday afternoon’s clash with Hull City.

“In the second half we came back stronger and we were really getting into the game, then we had a man sent off.

“Of course, they are a very good team, we’re not going to lie about that.

“It was a really tough one, they’re a very good side. We just have to bounce back and show character for the next game and show everyone what we can do.”
