Nabil Bentaleb is preparing to lock horns with a familiar face at Leicester on Boxing Day.
If selected, Nabil is likely to face his Algerian international team-mate and friend Riyad Mahrez.
The pair both made their debuts for Algeria in 2014 and were part of the squad that reached the last 16 of the World Cup, where they lost narrowly to eventual champions Germany in Brazil. Both now have nine full caps and have been named in Algeria’s squad for the African Cup of Nations.
Mahrez joined the Foxes in January, helped them to promotion from the Championship and has caught the eye with some of his performances so far in the Premier League.

“I know Riyad really well, he’s my friend,” said Nabil. “He’s a good player, quick on the ball and really good in one-against-one situations.
“He’s been fantastic for Leicester this season and a player we will have to watch.
“He likes to take on players and that’s his main strength, in a one-versus-one he can make a difference against any opponent.”
Nabil is determined to build on wins against Swansea and Burnley in the 3pm kick-off at the King Power Stadium.
“We’re in a good way and we have to continue like this,” added Nabil, who has started our last five matches in the Premier League. “We have to keep improving like we have been doing and try to take the three points at Leicester.”
