Nabil Bentaleb reckons there’s no bigger stage on which to return to winning ways than the North London derby.
We head to the Emirates today in search of our first win in four Premier League games and our first victory over the Gunners since March, 2013.
Midfielder Nabil, who has played in our last two meetings with Arsenal, says the players are determined to improve on our recent record when we take to the field at 5.30pm.
“It’s a very big game, we all know how important this derby game is for the club and for everyone around us,” said the 19-year-old, who played 90 minutes in Wednesday’s Capital One Cup win at home to Championship leaders Nottingham Forest.
“When this type of game comes along, you have to show up. It’s a big stage and these are the games where a team can show what it is made of so hopefully we can put in a strong performance and get a result that will please all our fans.”
