Goalkeeper Jonathan Miles enjoyed a solid outing for Whitehawk on another busy weekend for our loanees.

The 20-year-old played an important role in preventing high-flying Ebbsfleet United from taking all three points in Saturday’s Skrill Conference South clash, as the Hawks held their opponents to a 1-1 draw.

Elsewhere, Lewis Holtby’s Fulham enjoyed a 1-0 win against Newcastle United to boost their Premier League survival hopes on Saturday. Lewis, who tested Magpies stopper Tim Krul with a left-footed curler in the first half, played 82 minutes before being withdrawn.

Jake Livermore also saw action in the Premier League, but his Hull City side suffered a 2-0 reverse against Manchester City.

In the Championship, Ryan Fredericks came on for the final 18 minutes of Millwall’s clash with Charlton Athletic – the full-back helping to bolster the Lions’ defence in the closing stages of their 0-0 draw.

Tom Carroll, meanwhile, was an unused substitute in Queens Park Rangers’ 3-0 win against Yeovil.

In League One, Alex Pritchard saw red in Swindon Town’s 0-0 draw at Bristol City after an altercation with City’s Wade Elliott while Cristian Ceballos also departed early from FC Arouca’s 2-0 win against Olhanense in Portugal, having collected a second yellow card in the 90th minute.

In Spain, Yago Falque enjoyed a productive outing for Rayo Vallecano, providing the assists for his side’s first two goals in their 3-1 win against Almeria. He was withdrawn with eight minutes remaining.
