New signing Dele Alli has today been named SkyBet League One Player of the Month for his performances for MK Dons in January.

The midfielder has combined energy, consistency and assurance for the Buckinghamshire outfit, scoring an eye-catching opening goal in a 2-0 win against Barnsley on Saturday, January 24.

A fortnight earlier, the 18-year-old swept home an injury-time equaliser in a 2-2 draw at Crawley Town.

Dele completed his move to White Hart Lane on transfer deadline day and has been loaned back to the Milton Keynes side for the remainder of the season.

Elsewhere, young defender Dominic Ball was on the bench for Cambridge United in their 3-0 FA Cup Fourth Round replay defeat at Manchester United on Tuesday evening.

Dominic has to date made two senior appearances for the U’s in League Two after linking up with them last month.
