Legends visit Malaysia

Mon 08 September 2014, 10:41|Tottenham Hotspur

Ledley King and Ossie Ardiles were in Malaysia this week to support AIA initiatives and visit our passionate supporters in the region.

The pair were accompanied by fellow former pros David Kerslake and Anton Blackwood, now members of our Global Coaching team.

As well as engaging with AIA staff in Kuala Lumpur, the visit saw the launch of our principle partner’s support of the Brickfields Community Football Programme.

BCFP is a volunteer-led football training programme for disadvantaged youth in the Klang Valley region. AIA’s one-year support of the initiative marks a commitment to promoting health and wellbeing throughout the Asia-Pacific region throughout our five-year partnership.

The trip was rounded off by an event with Malaysia Spurs, one of over 100 Official Supporters Clubs we have across the world.

Ledley and Ossie took part in a memorable Q&A session with the fans, who also visited from Thailand and Indonesia.

Earlier in the week, David and Anton had put on a special coaching session for Supporters Club members.
