Spurs Ladies have signed two players from the Women's Super League.
Josephine Green has joined from Watford and Sydney Hinchcliffe from London Bees, both teams in WSL 2.
The Women's Super League is the highest level of the women's game in this country - WSL 1 is the top division - with Spurs currently just one level below in the FA Women's Premier League.
The pair have made an instant impact. 'Josie' was outstanding in her debut in Sunday's FA Cup win at Gillingham while Sydney scored the decisive spot-kick in a penalty shoot-out in the quarter-final of the Capital Cup against West Ham.
"These are important signings for the club, another big step for us as they will now be with us until the end of the season at least, rather than going back to the WSL," explained manager Karen Hills.
"Josie is a really strong signing. She works hard in the middle, tackles, breaks up play and has a great range of passing. She's settled in well and played well in her first game against Gillingham on Sunday.
"Sydney is a versatile player and a great defender, very difficult to beat one-on-one and for her to step-up and take that penalty on her debut says all we need to say about her character. She's focused and wants to do well.
"They both like what they've seen and what we're trying to do at Spurs, the club's potential and our aim to take the club forward.
"They have bought into what we're trying to achieve and are excited to be part of the journey."
Meanwhile, after a short stint at Spurs, England U19 striker Lucy Loomes has joined WSL 2 side Millwall Lionesses.
Next up for Spurs, a rare return to FAWPL action against Plymouth at Cheshunt FC on Sunday (February 14, 2pm).
The team remains in all four cup competitions - they have reached the final of the Ryman Cup, semi-finals of the Capital Cup, quarter-finals of the League Cup and fourth round of the FA Cup.
