Spurs Ladies are through to the Fourth Round of the Women's FA Cup after a convincing 4-1 Third Round victory over Brentwood Town Ladies at the weekend.

After what has been a strong start to the league season for manager Karen Hills' team so far, the girls came from behind in Essex to advance in this competition.

Emma Kayser levelled things up before half-time before a solo effort from Bianca Baptisle put Spurs in front.

Two substitutes, Kirsten Thomson and Rosie Webb, later came off the bench to settle the tie and leave manager Hills delighted.

She said: "The first half performance wasn't the start we wanted but as the game went on we became stronger and more in control of the game.

"Brentwood fought all the way to the final whistle and played some nice football. We are now looking forward to our next opponents in the FA Cup".

Spurs Ladies donated their match winnings of £200 to the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.
