Fans were treated to free Spurs figures from the Tottenham Hotspur SoccerStarz range at Sunday's cracker against City at the Lane.

Creative Distribution, one of Europe’s largest gaming distributors, was given the opportunity to promote its SoccerStarz range and representatives took to the streets of N17 to put its popular range of lifelike footballer figurines directly into the hands of fans.

Around 500 of the Tottenham Hotspur SoccerStarz range were given away to fans attending the match during the build-up to kick-off.

Creative Distribution has worked closely with the club to help promote the range to a growing global fanbase via the Club’s channels.

The Tottenham Hotspur SoccerStarz range is already available across our retail channels and the high street, both in stores and online, and this week a competition to win figurines will be held on the Official Spurs Facebook page.

Glenn Barnard, Trading Director, Creative Toys, said: "When Creative launched SoccerStarz™, it was an essential requirement that Tottenham Hotspur became part of the incredibly successful range. Spurs are one of the Premier League’s top retail successes and it’s been an honour to be associated with them.

"The support they have given us since our association has been totally positive and really helped us grow our business. Since the launch in November, Spurs SoccerStarz ™ have been flying off the shelves.

"Super “Starz” such as Gareth Bale, Jermain Defoe and Scott Parker can now be collected, traded and swapped and fans can pick the players for their Spurs team just like a manager.”

The Club also benefits from Creative Distribution’s unique position within the toys industry, opening up Tottenham Hotspur to a new and exciting area of retail.

Creative are one of four toy companies to become licensees of Tottenham Hotspur in the past 18 month, with Tin Concepts, Art & Science, and Character Options also coming on board, highlighting the rapid growth in demand for licensed football merchandise in the toy category.

Gary Jacobson, Brand Licensing Manager, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “Our licensees are of paramount importance to us, and we demonstrate this by offering a dedicated support network, including exposure across our growing social media channels.

“As a Club, we are constantly striving to find new ways of engaging with our younger fans through retail, and working with toy licensees to produce quality merchandise is key to this.

“The latest deals have opened new retail channels to Tottenham Hotspur merchandise, such as Toys R Us, Debenhams, Hamleys and John Lewis.”
