Our supporters have scored us a pre-Capital One Cup Final victory after defeating Chelsea in a social media shootout to determine the colour of the famous Wembley arch.
Throughout the week, fans have been encouraged to use the hashtag #SpursAtWembley on Twitter to help turn the arch Tottenham Hotspur white.
Chelsea supporters have been using their equivalent hashtag in a bid to get their traditional blue featured, with the majority of the arch changing colour based on the amount of hashtag mentions for each club.
The deadline to determine the final colours ahead of Sunday's Capital One Cup Final passed at 6pm this evening (Saturday, February 28) and we're delighted to say that our fans have emerged victorious, 51 per cent to Chelsea's 49 per cent.
That means the arch is now primarily white as night falls on the eve of the big match!
This week’s innovative social media vote marks the first time the iconic arch has been utilised in this way to let fans decide how the national stadium looks ahead of a major cup final. It's also the first time it has ever been lit up in a football club’s colours.
A big thank you to all our fans for your fantastic support!
